Cargo Floor's moving floor

is a multifunctional moving floor system with which you can transport, unload and/or load a wide variety of products fast and efficiently horizontally (without having to tip).
Our moving floor is extremely suitable for unloading bulk products that usually are loaded from the top. These products can then safely be unloaded through the rear. But our moving floor can also be used for (un)loading packaged products like: pallets, paper rolls, etc.

A moving floor: how does it work?

Loading and unloading based on friction differences between the moving floor and the product

Our moving floor is based on the principle of friction between the cargo and the moving floor. The floor is made of a series of floor slats (which are as long as the trailer/bunker/application you wish to fit them in) that are mounted side by side. These moving floor slats are divided into three groups. These three groups can move as one in a direction (loading or unloading): the load will move. Or only one group moves and the others do not: the load will not move. Under the floor slats the moving floor drive unit is mounted, there is no extra floor mounted under the moving slats.

Our moving floors are extremely suitable as a continuous conveyor for the automatic conveyance of large quantities of bulk products.  The moving floor will feed the production process in an meticulous metered manner.

Our moving floor can be integrated in:

Bulk products are stored in a buffer to subsequently feed them efficiently to the production processes. Alternatively, one can also fill large volume moving floor semitrailers. 

Static moving floor features:

  • Possible on virtually any location: indoors or outdoors (and can be integrated into existing structures). 
  • Can easily communicate with other systems such as conveyor belts, screw conveyors, shredders, presses, ovens, etc.
  • The moving floor operates autonomously, but can easily be connected to: sensors, weighing units, interval timers, etc.
